Over the weekend Baltimore Ravens safety Ed Reed told his followers on Twitter to tell his bosses that he’s comfortable at home in Miami with his family.
On Monday Reed posted another tweet on his timeline that gives me the impression he’s thinking about holding out from training camp, in order to get a new contract.

I believe that Reed wouldn’t mind at least skipping training camp to send a message to the Ravens’ front office that he deserves more money. If Reed does hold out during camp, he would be subject to being fined since he’s under contract.
But I wouldn’t expect him to hold out into the regular season. I also don’t expect the Ravens to give him a new deal.
