Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman wouldn’t indicate whether or not the Eagles plan on using the franchise tag on wide receiver DeSean Jackson.
“We’ll keep that internal as we do all contract negotiations,” Roseman said yesterday after serving as a guest panelist at Widener Law School. “We like to convey messages to our players and their representative before we do anything else.”
Roseman did say that they’re fortunate to have Jackson on their team.
“We feel very fortunate to have him as part of our team,” Roseman said. “We all have a relationship with him. Anything other than that, like any player, we’ll try to keep it between us.”
I’m not sure exactly how happy the Eagles are to have Jackson, since there have been reports that he’ll be franchised so they can work on trying to trade him before next season.

Trade OSI for Djack Eagles get a pass rusher Giants get a KR PR and replacement for Manningham. They would have to work the Cap issue but Jacobs should be gone saving us money. Plus either Blackburn or Golf will be leaving prob Golf and either webster and ross might go one of them.
The Jets needs a WR PR KR as well maybe a draft pick for him that would help the offense and ST big time. IDK if having him and Holmes would be a good fit for the locker room. I also thinkt hey should seek a VET QB to push sanchez like a Orton, Henne, Mcnab who also could win games if needed.
