Ever since the Philadelphia Eagles drafted tackle Lane Johnson with the 4th overall pick in this years draft, it has been expected that the team would move tacke Todd Herremans to guard and this week, that move has finally come to fruition.
According to Philly.com, the move was made on Monday during the first day of organized team activities.
Herremans played every snap with the first-team offense on Monday, the first day of organized team activities. Johnson did not run with the starters – he had only a three-day rookie minicamp under his belt before Monday – but that is certainly the expectation.
Like previously mentioned, this move comes as no surprise as this was expected since the Eagles drafted Johnson. Now since this thrilling move was made, now eyes turn to the quarterback competion between Nick Foles, Michael Vick, and rookie Matt Barkley.
