Eagles sign Trent Edwards to an extension
According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Eagles have signed back up quarterback Trent Edwards to a one-year extension, that will run through 2013.

The Eagles clearly like Edwards as a back up since they were willing to release Mike Kafka at the end of the preseason.
