Peter King of SI.com wrote in this week’s installment of his Monday Morning Quarterback column that the Philadelphia Eagles don’t want to trade up from the 15th pick to anywhere between the 3rd and 8th picks of the draft. He also believes that their interest in Ryan Tannehill has been “overstated.”
King also said that the Eagles have been “sniffing around” the quarterback position throughout the offseason, which could mean they don’t see Michael Vick as their long-term solution at the quarterback position any longer.
I believe if the Eagles don’t take a quarterback in the first round, they’ll likely take one either in the second or third round. So they can groom him to take over within the next couple of years.Follow PFZ on Twitter @ProFootballZone
