Buffalo Bills President and Chief Executive Officer Russ Brandon has already made it clear that rookie quarterback E.J. Manuel will have to compete for the starting job.
“Our goal coming in was to bring in another bell-cow quarterback to compete for the job [with newly signed Kevin Kolb and holdover Tarvaris Jackson], and we did that with E.J.,” Brandon said, per Yahoo! Sports. “Then we added some new tools in the toolbox.”
I can see Tarvaris Jackson beginning the season as the Bills starter and Manuel taking over around week eight. But ultimately Manuel will be the guy.
