Bills head coach Doug Marrone told reporters today that he expects quarterback E.J. Manuel to return in four to six weeks as he continues to recover from a sprained LCL.
“I spoke to the doctors, it will be four-to-six weeks from now,” said Marrone via WGR 550. “So the earliest will be four and the latest will be six weeks without any setback. That’s how we feel. He’s doing well and he’s in rehab working hard.”
Marrone made it clear that they want to make sure Manuel is ready when he comes back.
“Am I disappointed? No,” Marrone said. “I want to make sure that he’s healthy when he comes back.”
