Dwight Freeney would love to hit Peyton Manning
Indianapolis Colts linebacker Dwight Freeney told Dave Dameshek of NFL.com that he would love to hit Peyton Manning now that he’s no longer on his team.
“Peyton obviously is the staple of Indianapolis and this organization for years,” Freeney said. “I went after him in practice year in and year out and never got a chance to hit him. So yeah, I would love to hit him.”
Since the Colts aren’t scheduled to play the Broncos this season, Freeney can only hope for an unlikely playoff match up this season.
