Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe is one pretty confident person. He told the Adam Teicher of the Kansas City Star that he’ll lead the league this season in receptions and touchdowns. He also believes in running back Jamaal Charles and said he’ll be the league leader in rushing.
I think Bowe is a heck of a receiver, but I can’t imagine the Chiefs throwing the ball enough for him to lead the NFL in receptions and touchdowns. Now I know head ccoach Andy Reid favors the pass over the run, but he better be careful because Alex Smith didn’t play when everything was on his shoulders in San Francisco. During his career year in 2011 he had the least amount of pass attempts than any other quarterback in the NFL.
Now I could see Charles leading the league in rushing. That’s not a crazy thought.
