Tom Curran of CSNNE.com believes former Jets and Dolphins tight end Dustin Keller will be on the Patriots radar as they look to add depth with Rob Gronkowski recovering from ACL surgery and the fact that they still haven’t replaced Aaron Hernnadez.
nyway, the fallout was that Keller’s knee was destroyed as he tore the ACL, MCL and PCL and dislocated his knee.
Fortunately, Keller avoided nerve damage so there is a likelihood that the rest can be rehabbed and he can return.
His agent, Eugene Parker, recently said Keller will be ready for 2014. That being the case, anticipate Keller being on New England’s radar post-draft.
While Keller isn’t on the same level as Hernandez, he would be a nice replacement if he can get his knee healthy.
