Buffalo Bills Head Coach Chan Gailey announced in a press conference this week Donald Jones is in the lead to be the number two receiver alongside Stevie Johnson. While Gailey admits the final outcome is “still too early to call”, it appears that Jones is making all the right moves.
Things have been going so well, in fact, he has also been working out again in the slot position during the team’s OTAs. Jones primarily played slot since he was signed as an undrafted rookie free agent but switched to the outside last August after the Bills traded Lee Evans. He had more success in the slot than he ever had outside so this may just be the move the Bills need.
