Without any surprise at all, Patriots rookie defensive tackle Dominique Easley has been limited during OTA’s this week.
The first-round pick is nearly seven months removed from ACL surgery, which was performed by Dr. James Andrews, and all accounts insist there’s no question he’ll be ready for the start of the regular season. The Patriots are simply managing his rehab without any need to rush him along with four months before the season. So far, there have been no issues with Easley’s recovery.
Easley said Monday he hoped to get on the field “as soon as possible.”
If Easley can stay healthy, he’ll be a heck of an NFL player.
