According to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com, word around the league, is that the Miami Dolphins are currently leaning towards hiring Cincinnati Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer as their next head coach.
Nothing is imminent at this point and I wouldn’t be surprised if they interview a few more candidates before making a final decision.
Now that the Packers have been eliminated from the playoffs, the Dolphins can join in with the Raiders and interview a bunch of their coaches if they’d like as well.
Zimmer and Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland spent six seasons together when they were both with the Dallas Cowboys from 2001 to 2006.

Nooooooo! 1st of all… Anyone associated w/Irelands past will NOT help the team! My preference would be Joe Philbin or Brian Billick
