Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant knows now is not the time to think about getting a contract extension.
“Can’t think about that kind of stuff,” Bryant told ESPNDallas on Monday. “You tend to think about that you will mess up, you just can’t think about it.”
He knows he must focus on what’s happening right now.
Bryant said he’s “very” loyal to the Cowboys but “like my coach tells me all the time you got to focus on the task at hand.”
The Cowboys are projected to be $31 million over the cap in 2014. They have a lot of work to do before they can make Bryant an offer.
