After a break out season in 2012, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant feels like he can be the first NFL wide receiver to gain 2,000 yards in a season.
“That’s still scratching the surface,” Bryant told ESPNDallas.com. “It’s only going to get better, to be honest. I still have a lot to give. I feel like nobody’s seen anything. Nothing.
“I feel like it can be a lot more than that. That’s just being honest. I honestly feel like [2,000 yards and 20 touchdowns] can potentially happen.”
Bryant was very impressive in 2012, but I can’t imagine him accumulating 2,000 yards in a single season right now. The only receiver I can see doing that is Calvin Johnson of the Lions.
