Dez Bryant admits he’d have surgery if Cowboys weren’t in playoff hunt

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant admits that he would go ahead and have his fractured finger surgically repaired if it wasn’t for the fact that his team was in the thick of the NFC playoff race.

“The position that we are in, that makes me want to be out there,” said Bryant, per ESPNDallas.com. “If there was anything less than what we got a chance of, I would have went ahead and got surgery.”

Bryant finally had a breakout season in 2012 and if the Cowboys are going to make the playoffs, they’re going to need him.
