DeSean Jackson doesn’t believe Tim Tebow is “good enough” to be an NFL quarterback

Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson was a guest on the NFL Network and he didn’t have a problem being honest about what he thinks about Tim Tebow as an NFL quarterback.

“Forty-six percent (completion percentage)? This is not basketball, that is not good enough,” Jackson said, via Larry Brown Sports. “He has the mentality to come in and be a leader and all that good stuff, but as far as winning the games throughout the whole season, I don’t know. I don’t know if he can be my quarterback.”

Jackson managed to slihtly praise Tebow.

“He won a playoff game, he beat the (Pittsburgh) Steelers,” Jackson said. “He’s done a pretty good job in the playoffs, that’s what I can say about him. As far as a consistent season, going throughout the whole year — he’s not consistent.”

Hey DeShawn Jax-ion WHERE have you been for the past 12 months? Tim Tebow had a satisfactory year in Denver two years ago. The JETS didn’t give Tebow any starting roles. If you’re going to say 45% completion rate was that with the Broncos run and shoot? Because the very nature of that offensive play is throw the ball away rather than get sacked. Do you care if his percent rate is low if he gets the WIN. Just win, baby. said the late Al Davis.
Punks like you are a joke!
Could YOU be a qb with the JET’s porous o. line? Could YOU keep from fumbling when there’s 5 defensive linemen crashing in on you.
Tebow usually gets 4.7 yards per carry. Even on busted plays. THAT’s a statistic you didn’t look up DeShawn Jax -ion. Duh. Why don’t you go break a leg or something.
Also, if Tebow criticized YOU, he’d be accused by the media and the NAACP and your ‘bros’ of being a racist.
So have a great season. I hope when the Patriots play the Jets they give Tebow lots of snaps to run over his former team. Like wise with the Eagles: I hope the Pats give Tebow a chance to run over the green and white. “nuff said. B__

Don’t worry Djax you’re not good enough to be a starting WR in the nfl. You’d be a fine number 3,4, or 5 though!

I thought we covered this DeShawn Jaxon:
The QB keeper portion of the run and shoot / read/option has this weakness: If the QB is caught behind the line of scrimmage = a loss, he just throws that ball away. Rather have an incomplete pass than a sack for a loss.
So it’s just the ‘nature of the beast’ that no-huddle, spread-formation,, read/option, run and gun the QB rolls out and shovel passes the ball to the tight end (Aaron Hernandez),; when the defense stops that, they fake the shovel pass and QB keeps the ball. If a receiver (Percy Harvin) was open, QB passes. If receiver is NOT open QB runs for 5 yards at a time. IF a linebacker is there to make the tackle on QB in a roll-out, (outside the tackle box) QB throws the ball into the stands. HE THROWS THE BALL AWAY to avoid a sack. Got that you thick headed clown.??
Did you no see ANY of the Florida Gators AWESOME offense for 3 1/2 years under Urban Meyers and Tim Tebow. Maybe there is footage via the college itself or youtube.
And all that matters at the end of the game is the W. Just win, baby. Who cares if his percentage completion is 45% if they win their games.?????
    Just little bean-counters, like yourself.
