DeSean Jackson already wants more money

Even though Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson just signed a five-year, $48.2  million contract with a $10 million signing bonus 22 months ago,  he made it clear he would like a raise after having a career year in 2014.

“I definitely feel it’s something deserving,” Jackson said via CSNPhilly.com. “We’ll see how that plays out, and hopefully we can work things out smoothly and not have to worry about anything out of the ordinary.

“But I definitely feel like it’s deserving. I’m proven in this league, and after this past year, went out there, no distractions, and just really put it all in for my team and went out there and had a lot of success, so we’ll see how it goes.”

Jackson needs to realize the reason the Eagles paid him was to have the season he had in 2014, and not to play the way he did in 2013.

Im not surprised. Desean has a serious maturity problem and is unfortunately playing off of his athletic ability rather than his work ethic. That is why he disappears at times against better corners who get their hands on him at the line of scrimmage.

If he would put in the work on his route running, studying defenses and just fricken grow up period, he could be a top 3 or 5 wide out.

Asking for more money already, proves my point exactly.
