Dallas Cowboys linebacker DeMarcus Ware told Todd Archer of ESPNDallas.com that he’ll be undergoing shoulder surgery .
The Cowboys hope Ware will be ready in time for training camp.
Ware was bothered for much of the season with a posterior torn labrum, which caused his shoulder to pop in and out of place.
It has not been decided whether Ware will have surgery on his hyperextended right elbow. The hope is that rest will help resolve the issue, but he could have a minor procedure performed later in the offseason.
Ware wore a brace over the final few weeks of the season to protect his elbow, but it sapped him of his strength.
