According to Todd Archer of ESPNDallas.com, Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Ware says he’ll be ready to go for training camp after undergoing offseason surgery on his shoulder.
“I’ll be out there doing everything from all the drills to all the plays they want me to do,” said Ware. “I know how it’s going to go and it’s going to go well.”
Ware says he could play in a game tomorrow if he had to.
“I feel like my shoulder is about 94 percent, if you want to put it that way,” Ware said, referring to his uniform number. “If we had to play a game tomorrow, I’d be ready to play.”
He says his shoulder will be 100 percent by the time camp rolls around.
“Just getting out on the field, banging around a little bit, knocking off the rust and maybe sacking the quarterback one time,” Ware said. “That’ll make myself feel good all over again.”
