Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray told the Dallas Morning News that he’s healthy and working hard for the upcoming season.
“I definitely feel like I’m back to where I need to be,” Murray said Wednesday after practice. “But it’s still early. I’m excited to continue to work hard and get to training camp.”
Murray admits there are areas where he needs to improve as an NFL running back, but the key for him is to “play hard and play free.”
“I can’t go out there thinking too much and getting a couple of the same things drilled in my head,” he said. “I’ve got to go out there and make plays. That’s it.”
Murray might be healthy now, but let’s see how he’s doing by week 10.
