Dallas Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones has ruled out running back DeMarco Murray for Sunday’s game against the Panthers.
“I think we were encouraged that his sprain was not any more serious than it is,” Jones said, via the Dallas Morning News. “He’s a tough guy. I regret that we’re not going to have him against Carolina, which looks obvious. I’m encouraged that we’re going to have him as we move along. He’s playing outstanding. He’s going to get better and better.”
Murray sprained and suffered a torn ligament in his foot during this past Sunday’s loss to the Ravens.
