According to 710 ESPN Radio in Seattle, ESPN’s John Clayton indicated that negotiations between the Seattle Seahawks and linebacker David Hawthorne have been “intensifying” and a deal should get done soon.
“I would have to think he’s going to probably to come back on a two- or three-year deal,” said Clayton. “[I] wouldn’t be surprised if they could get something done today. But I know that the communication has still been there from the Seahawks.”
There was a chance that the 26 year-old Hawthorne was going to leave in free agency, but it looks like he’s realized his value on the open market isn’t as high as he initially had thought.Follow PFZ on Twitter @ProFootballZone
