It seems that right now, free agent quarterback David Garrard isn’t in a hurry to get back on the football field.
According to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, the reason the Dolphins weren’t able to sign Garrard was because he just doesn’t want to play football right now.
Garrard is content with sitting out the season so he can relax and spend some quality time with his family and then hit the free agent market in March.
If Garrard is financially secure right now, I don’t blame him for taking some time off to spend some time with his family.
