David Carr reportedly expected to test free agent market, Bucs could be a landing spot

According to Mike Garafolo of USA Today Sports, New York Giants quarterback David Carr is expected to test the free agent market and try to land somewhere that he has a shot at starting next season.

Garafolo believes the Buccaneers could be a potential landing spot for Carr, since former Giants assistant coach Mike Sullivan is their offensive coordinator.

With Carr turning 34 in July, I’m not sure which team will bring him in to compete for a starting job.  I think his time as passed to prove that he can be an NFL starter.
