On Tuesday, a source indicated that Baas may have suffered an injury to his MCL. This is the same MCL that Baas sprained in the preseason, an injury that caused him to miss several weeks. Baas was scheduled to have an MRI Tuesday.
“It’s unfortunate,” Baas said after the game Monday night. “But I’m just trying to stay positive and get healthy again. I mean, I can’t catch a break, man.”
Don’t be surprised if Jim Cordle is the Giants center for the remainder of the season.
