Darren McFadden expected to be the Raiders starting running back

Even though the Raiders signed Maurice Jones-Drew this offseason,  Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com believes Darren McFadden will be Oakland’s starting running back in 2014.

If healthy, and that’s a big IF, Darren McFadden is the lead dog in the backfield, when you consider his home run potential and familiarity with the Raiders offense.

If the Raiders are going to rely on McFadden to start, then MJD will take over as the starter rather quickly.
