Just like we’ve been expecting, Raiders running back Darren McFadden will play in today’s game against the Cowboys for the first time since re-injuring his hamstring on November 3rd.
Raiders offensive coordinator Greg Olsen made it clear this week that they’ll go with the “hit hand” so Rashad Jennings will likely get more carries with McFadden relieving him.
Head coach Dennis Allen is in agreement with Olsen.
“The guy that’s in there and being the most effective will be the guy that gets the opportunity,” Allen said Wednesday via ESPN.com. “But I see them both getting a chance to carry the ball. We’ll see how it goes. We’ll play (it) out as the game plays along.”
