New York Giants second-year defensive end Damontre Moore told NJ.com that his surgically reported shoulder is about 95 percent right now.
Moore says he’s been working out much harder this offseason.
“I just want to go out there – and if that’s me starting, or whatever, that’s great – and do my job. If that’s on special teams, that’s great, too. At the end of the day, my opportunity will come to me.”
Moore wants to be the best he can, whether that’s on defense or special teams.
“Whatever I do, I’m always going to try and do it better,” Moore said. “I would like to say that I can go out there and get four more blocked punts next year. At the end of the day, I’m going to perform at the best of my ability.”
