Cowboys' Tyron Smith called 911 after family demanded money
According to the Dallas Morning News, Dallas Cowboys left tackle Tyron Smith was forced to dial 911 after several of his family members showed up to his home demanding money.
At 2:17 p.m. Tuesday, Tyron Smith, second-year tackle for the Dallas Cowboys, called 911. According to a Dallas police incident report, the 21-year-old said that people he knows had shown up at his Northwest Dallas house, off Northwest Highway between Marsh Lane and Midway Road, demanding money. Specifically, per the DPD’s brief account, they had come to “harass and torment” him “in the pursuit of collecting financial gain.”
This is a very sad situation and is unfortunately very common among pro athletes.
