According to Dan Pompei of the National Football Post, there’s a possibility that the Dallas Cowboys could end up pursuing former Titans head coach Jeff Fisher to replace Jason Garrett if their season ends up going south.
Pompei mentioned that both Fisher and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones have a close relationship from when they served together on the NFL’s competition committee.
One other team that Pompei also mentioned is the Miami Dolphins as a possible landing spot for Fisher.
If the Cowboys offense continues to struggle, it might make sense to replace Garrett. For a guy who’s supposed to have been such a great offensive coordinator, he’s been less then impressive over the past few seasons.
