Cowboys rookie running back Joseph Randle says he’ll have the cast on his thumb removed in time for training camp.
“I’m ready to get it off,” Randle said via the Dallas Morning News.
Randle says the Cowboys playbook is more complicated than the one he had in college.
“Learning the playbook is always first,” Randle said. “The plays are a little more complex than my old offense, but I’ll pick up on it. It’ll be good.”
The good news is that Randle does see from similarities between the Cowboys playbook and the one he had at Oklahoma State.
I think Randle will have a good chance at making an impact this season behind DeMarco Murray.
