Cowboys release Stephen McGee, place Danny Coale on the practice squad

The Dallas Cowboys released quarterback Stephen McGee on Saturday in order to make room for tight end Colin Cochart, since Jason Witten’s health has been in question.

The Cowboys also added wide receiver Danny Coale to their practice squad.
The Cowboys got back everybody they wanted on the practice squad… Calloway, Coale, Benforf, Dunbar, Olawale, Bass, Lemon and G Leary.
