According to Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Dallas Cowboys cornerback Mike Jenkins still “has a ways to go” in his rehab from offseason shoulder surgery. His range of motion is currently very limited and he’ll stay on the PUP list until he’s healthy.
“That Jenkins could not throw the football overhand while playing coach with a strength coach is not alarming, according to a Cowboys trainer who said limited range of motion was normal with rotator cuff surgery,” reported Hill.
“Jenkins actually played with one arm and a lack of range motion in his right shoulder last year. The Cowboys don’t want a repeat of that which is why he had the surgery and is going through the lengthy rehab process,” Hill wrote.
It’s a good thing the Cowboys loaded up with talent at the cornerback position this offseason.
