Cowboys may need to move on from Ratliff, Free and Sensabaugh

As we get closer to the start of the new league year (March 12th), the Dallas Cowboys have some difficult decisions to make when it comes to their roster, since they’re roughly $23 million over the salary cap.

Accoridng to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, the Cowboys may be forced to cut offensive tackle Doug Free who’s scheduled to make $7 million 2013.  Safety Gerald Sensabaugh is due $3 million and defensive tackle Jay Ratliff is  set to bring in $5 million next season, which could lead to them being released.  Not to mention Ratliff has had his share of off the field problems.

Jerry Jones could always decide to restructure from contracts, but I don’t think that will be enough.
