Cowboys makes some tweaks to their coaching staff

According to Todd Archer of ESPNDallas.com,  the Cowboys made some tweaks to their coaching staff by making Keith Quinn their assistant special teams coach and Kyle Valero is now an offensive assistant.

O’Quinn replaces Chris Boniol, who held the assistant special teams coach title from 2010-12 and has the same job now with the Oakland Raiders. O’Quinn has spent the last three years as an offensive quality control coach as well as an assistant wide receivers coach.

He is well thought of inside Valley Ranch and also has a scouting background. After a three-year run as a pro scout with the Cowboys, he was the Cleveland Browns’ director of pro personnel in 2009.

Valero worked with new passing game coordinator Scott Linehan for four seasons with theDetroit Lions.
