Cowboys offensive coordinator Rod Marinelli is looking for additional ways to get second-year tight end Gavin Escobar involved this season. He’s been doing so by lining him up out wide like a receiver, according to the Dallas Morning News.
Cowboys offensive play-caller Scott Linehan is trying different ways to get last year’s second-round pick involved in the passing game. During training camp practices, Escobar has often lined up out wide.
The Cowboys need to figure out how to use Escobar, they didn’t draft him the second round in 2013 for nothing.
