Cowboys expected to dump Miles Austin

According to Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com,  the Cowboys are expected to released wide receiver Miles Austin this offseason and will look Terrance Williams to step up as their number two receiver next season.

The Cowboys are expected to part ways with Miles Austin to save $5.5 million against the salary cap.

That would mean Williams would start alongside Dez Bryant in an offense expected to increase the number of passes thrown with new play-caller Scott Linehan.

After a couple of great seasons, Austin is nothing more than an average player that can’t stay healthy.
