Cowboys, Dez Bryant have exchanged numbers towards getting an extension done

According to the Dallas Morning News,  the Cowboys have exchanged numbers with Dez Bryant’s reps as they get ready to work on a long-term extension.

Now, he’s entering the final year of a five-year, $11.8 million contract with a base salary of $1.78 million this season. Jones indicates the Cowboys have exchanged numbers with Bryant and his representative about an extension. But he stops short of confirming whether it’s with Bryant or Tyron Smith, another young star who is part of the team’s future.

It’s going to be interesting to see if Dallas makes Bryant the NFL’s highest paid wide receiver.
