Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Josh Brent was on the sideline during this past Sunday’s game against the Steelers just a week after killing his teammate and friend Jerry Brown after driving drunk and flipping his car.
A lot of people had a problem with Brent being on the sidelines since it could send the wrong signal that the Cowboys might condone what he did.
The Cowboys continue to stick by their word that they are supporting Brent but don’t condone what he did. They also claimed they didn’t know he would show up to the game and have stated that he won’t be on the sideline any longer.
I think the Cowboys have made the right move. They can support Brent all they want off the field, but he doesn’t need to be at games.
