Now that it looks like Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has to undergo another surgery on his forearm, some people are wondering if he’ll be ready to go for the regular season.
Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk believes there’s a chance Gronk may not be ready if he continues to have issues with his forearm. The lingering problem that the doctors have been trying to resolve is an infection in his forearm.
I would have to imagine that the Pats are more worried about Gronkowski’s long-term health than whether or not he’ll be ready for week one. Especially after he ended up breaking his forearm for second time when he came back least season.
