According to Mike Chappell of the Indianapolis Star, Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay believes quarterback Andrew Luck’s contract should get done rather quickly. He’s expected to receive a deal in the neighborhood of four-years, $22 million.
“It’s something that should be done swiftly,” said Irsay. “There shouldn’t be a difficult process with that.”
The Colts lead negotiator Dan Emerson has already been in contact with Luck’s agent and uncle Will Wilson. Irsay has also spoken with Wilson.
Irsay of course believes it’s better to get all of his rookies under contract as soon as possible.
“The sooner the better on all the draft picks,” Irsay said. “We’re going to present all the picks (offers) and say, ‘Here is the deal. Period.’Follow PFZ on Twitter @ProFootballZone
