Colts also reportedly looking to trade for an offensive linemen
According to Jason La Canfora of CBSSports.com via Ryan Wilson, even though the Colts are rumored to be looking to trade for a veteran cornerback, sources tell him that they’re looking at acquiring an offensive lineman.
“Some have suggested a cornerback, like Mike Jenkins of the Cowboys or Cary Williams of the Ravens,” La Canfora wrote Thursday night, “but it is not either of those players, league sources said. The Colts are seeking offensive line help and targeting options there, and a veteran tackle could be what they’re seeking. Teams are often reluctant to deal those players, especially in their prime.
“The Colts were not fixated on one particular deal, sources said, but were exploring multiple possibilities in the hopes of completing one that could upgrade their talent.”
The Colts could use some help on their offensive line with rookie quarterback Andrew Luck.
I wonder if the Colts are looking to trade for both an offensive lineman and a corner, they could use both.
