Last week the Clay Matthews Jr. and the rest of the Packers defense made it clear that they planned on hitting 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick whenever he had the football.
The Packers were so intent on hitting Kaepernick that Matthews tackled him while he was clearly out of bounds, which prompted a fight to break out between both teams.
Matthews was trying to send a message but Kaepernick didn’t care and kept ripping apart Green Bay’s defense through the air.
After the game Kaepernick made it clear that you can’t intimidate him going into a game.
“I’m not worried about what people are saying,” said Kaepernick, referring to Matthews’ comments last week. “If intimidation is your game plan, I hope you have a better one.”
