Cliff Avril's back should be fine
According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, Detroit Lions defensive end Cliff Avril underwent an MRI on his back today and everything came back clean.
This is great news for the Lions, they can’t afford to lose one of their best pass rushers to a serious injury.
