Cliff Avril likely done in Detroit

According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, the Detroit Lions will not place the franchise tag on defensive end Cliff Avril again, which means he’ll hit the free agent market and likely sign somewhere else.

Avril had 38 tackles, 2 forced fumbles and 9.5 sacks in 2012.  And at the age of 26 he’s in the prime of his career and could help a team like the Seahawks.
