According to SeattlePI.com, defensive end Cliff Avril is expected to make his Seahawks debut on Sunday night against the 49ers.
Avril has been dealing with a hamstring injury throughout the preseason.
Avril returned to practice last week and was close to ready for the Panthers game, but the Seahawks gave him a little more recovery time. If he indeed plays Sunday in the most-anticipated game of the season (so far), it will be his first game in a Seahawks uniform after Seattle signed him away from the Detroit Lions in the offseason.
Carroll said Monday that Avril seems ready to play, barring any unforeseen setbacks.
