Titans RB Chris Johnson is known as much for his lofty predictions as he is his blazing speed. In 2010 the Tennessee speedster predicted he would rush for 2,500 yards a year after hitting 2,006, but came up way short, finishing the year with 1,364 yards. Earlier this year he proclaimed that the 2013 NFL season would be the one in which he breaks Eric Dickerson’s single season rushing record of 2,105 yards, set way back in 1985.
His latest gesture isn’t so much a goal as it is a hilarious sort of wager. Johnson took a trip to a cigar store yesterday, and posted a photo to his Instagram account holding one of the most ginormous cigars you will ever see. Johnson captioned the photo, “I’m smoking that if we win the Super Bowl the whole cigar,” which you will realize when you see it that it would take a small miracle…
Good thing for Johnson that the Titans have a miniscule chance of winning the Super Bowl this year, because that thing would probably kill him if he smoked it all in one sitting.
