According to the Washington Post, tight end Chris Cooley plans on retiring from the NFL and will join the Redskins broadcast team as an analyst.

Cooley won't be Sam Huff's replacement on the radio broadcasts. He is to provide periodic analysis during games.

Cooley was a heck of a player and is a good overall guy,. Unfortuantely injuries got the best of him late in his career. We wish him the best in his new career.
