Chiefs apologize to a fan on Twitter for sending an unprofessional direct message
It all started on Monday when a Kansas City Chiefs fan sent out a tweet voicing his frustrations about his favorite team.
I’m not much of a @kcchiefs fan anymore. Clark Hunt’s yearly 30m under the cap ******** is unethical. Greedy bastard owners can F.O. cc @nfl

Eric Wright received a direct message from the person who runs the Chiefs Twitter account in order to respond to his tweet. The problem is that the message wasn’t professional at all.
It’s good to know the @kcchiefs social media team is ran by immature teenagers. Fact. Hunt hoards salary cap $$$. #KC twitter.com/teedubya/statu…

Once Mr. Wright put the Chiefs on blast and everyone found out, they sent ou an apology.
I apologize to the fans for my response to a tweet sent to me earlier. No excuse for my actions. I am truly sorry and it won’t happen again.

A multi-million dollar franchise like the Chiefs will hopefully learned what they can and cannot say on social media site like Twitter.
